3 pair of seamed stockings. All seem to be made by the same company but are not quite the same. Pair 1: #740 with paper label still attached, reading Nylon-Cotton; O.P.A. Ceiling, T - $1.30, 45 Gauge, 40 Denier, Admiration Costume Hosiery, 8 1/2; This pair is cotton at the top. Stamped “Made of Dupont Nylon” The label and paper wrapper look Art Deco to me, so 1930s? Pair 2 & 3 are the same color and size; marked “Knit of Dupont Nylon” and each has price tag attached marked O.P.A. Ceiling, $1.35, 45 Gauge, 40 Den., MFR. No. 656 Includes box in which they are acquired, for Hollywood Hose, Dupont Nylon, color Tropic Blush, size 10 1/2 (not the correct size for these 3 pair) Measurements, laid flat, all 3 pair: Toe to Heel: approx. 8.5” Condition: Unworn. One pair of the simpler pair has some light spots, probably from storage since they are unworn. Box is torn and soiled.
