Tienshan, Inc., established in 1978 in Norwalk, Connecticut, was a prominent manufacturer and importer of ceramic dinnerware and giftware. The company was founded through a collaboration between London Export Co., China National Arts & Crafts, and two former college roommates, John Braunschweig and Tim Lewis. Despite its innovations and contributions to the dinnerware industry, Tienshan ceased operations in 2009.
The "Moose Country" dinnerware pattern by Tienshan was produced from 1995 to 2001. This stoneware collection features a green sponged border with a moose and pine trees motif at the center.
