All distressing is factory made to be that way. **The only flaw is a small area of the stitching on the butt is gone. I actually purchased them new that way, didn't even realize til after I wore them. It doesn't affect the capris. I added a photo of the inside to show that there is no ripping or holes in that area. Would be an easy fix for someone who knows how to use a sewing machine! They are still wearable as they are, though. Please view all photos as they are part of the description!
