It's a medium weight jacket plus a down vest that detaches. Water and wind resistant material. Has a zip in panel for kangaroo carrying (see details from product description). I bought this last year and wore it only a handful of time. Never even took out the tag. It was great for a Seattle winter (maybe even a little on the warmer side). I was always cozy up to like 30 degrees F. Size medium. I am 5'3" and it was a little long. I normally wear a medium and this fit with Tina of room even with the baby at 9 months.
