Throw it on over everything on cool mornings and evenings. Features a point double collar front and back lace crocheted tape outter lining over very soft denim.. There are 2 places to add buttons, which I never choose to do. The buttonholes are covered fron the outside. This is an extra option provided by Jeanology 1980s and not a defect. One can research I would imagine.
