This banknote, with the 1 Bolívar banknotes was also known with the popular name of Tinoquitos, in honor of the president of the Central Bank of Venezuela by then. Another popular name was Monopolio, derived by similar size and paper quality of the popular game Monopoly.
Printed until 1999 and later demonetized. Collectible but not worth much on currency value due to demonetization.

On the right, bust of Panteón Nacional with the leyend BARRE below and two leyends in arc on it's side BOLÍVAR and LIBERTADOR. On the left, the denomination in words DOS BOLÍVARES Two Bolivars inside a guilloche with a serial number above. In each corner, the value in words DOS.
