4 Vintage GERMANY PIERCED PLATES / Transfer Print Pink Roses / Reticulated Rare

This is a set of four dessert plates with reticulated (pierced) edges and applied transfer print pink roses. They were most likely made in the Dresden region and date to before 1887. After 1887, anything made in Germany that was not marked ‘Made In Germany’ could not be exported to England or its colonies. Dresden porcelain manufacturers often used the blue underglaze back stamps. Each plate measures 5 7/8 inches wide and all are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
