This sweet set is reminiscent of blue transfer-ware dishes from ages past -- and I believe is made with the same method. The material of the focal tube shaped beads is something like porcelain or ceramic. I believe the white round accents to be plastic, though reminiscent of milk glass. Both pieces are strung on sturdy wire, with long extender chains. It's difficult to get a true measurement of length, but I'll be happy to add that if requested. As with any vintage or pre-owned costume jewelry, please be aware there can be patina and imperfections of plating, as well as wear on portions of the piece. I try to bring those to your attention when I can. I leave my jewelry uncleaned and unpolished so that you can decide how much "improvement" you want to put into its finish.
