ammoo
ammoo How is this 500 kurus and weights only 7.16 grams? 500 Kurus small is 17.54 grams and large is ~36.08 grams. This is actually 100 kurus coin.

yeghisapet @ammoo hello, you can google the coin, or ask a coin dealer, mine was checked and appraised by a coin dealer. My understanding is, that there are more variations of the Kouroush.

yeghisapet @ammoo thank you for all the info, I have taken photos from all the angles of the coin, and in Arabic writing it says 500 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ plus the coin inspector said it’s 500 Kurush.

ammoo @yeghisapet I believe you it’s just that weight doesn’t correspond to type. I also know it’s really beautiful piece that I wish I could afford to buy it. :)

yeghisapet @holab lol, if I was to sell it as scrap, $383 is what 7.15 grams will be. I’ll buy 10 of them at $250 if you have any
