Costume worthy? The go-to for this type of thing is usually "50s high fashion lady zombie" or something along those lines....
It most likely had a matching skirt, and it was most likely a much more vivid color than it is right now, which is a faded dusty pink. This is wool gabardine and it has moth holes, fading, and it needs buttons. This has the usual matching pink crepe lining. Amazing beadwork! Under the collar and hidden under those panels at the cuffs. No shoulder seams, and gusseted underarms. No labels at all. Not too bad if you're ambitious. There are many uses for this piece:
Restore it
Use for a pattern
Theater costume
The grommet set rhinestones are still fiery and can be reused, as can the great beads, which are all glass
And whatever else you can think of
39" bust
21" long
This part of the closet is for ambitious seamstresses, vintage sellers hook don't mind restoration, costumers, and some of it certainly can be worn if you have an eclectic style and don't mind some damage. More jackerts coming as well as some very amazing dresses. Mostly 40s & 50s vintage
