50s Vintage Straw Velvet Flower Pot Hat,Halo Lampshade, High Fashion

The 1956 Sears winter catalog called a similar hat a ''halo'' hat (see photo). The other similar in shape hat in this photo montage wasn't given a name! So call it what you want. Bucket, cone, funnel, lampshade, Flower Pot or halo. It's ever-so-50s Mid Century Modern in design. Neutral sewn straw, so very well done but STRAW AND VELVET? All at once!
