50s-60 XL Rhinestone Brooch 3" Dome Pin Smokey Topaz AB Crystal / Cut Glass

This outstanding dome brooch hails from the 1950’s to 60's era. It's a well made piece with rhodium plating and three tiers of crystal rhinestones. Tiers one and two are composed of baguette stones in smoky topaz gray. The third is of clear, round stones. These, and the smaller stones orbiting the pin, have been given an AB (aurora borealis) coating which creates opalescent rainbow sparkles of color. Add this jewel to your collection today! The brooch is in excellent vintage condition with light age/use related wear. The rhodium plate is in good shape. All stones are present, bright and shiny with occasional very slight scratches. I have not cleaned or touched it up in any way. There is a rollover clasp in good order. It measures approximately 2 3/4" Across x 5/8" Deep.
