katiedidit @jaspar21 yes these are solid 18 kt gold. They are not plated or gold filled. 18 kt gold has 18 parts gold out of the 24 parts pure gold has. You can't use 24 kt gold easily it is too soft. Doesn't Annette have one if the finest closets on Posh? I come here to drool and wish & I am a silver/goldsmith so that is a BIG compliment! And yes, I have bought from her too. Katherine

katiedidit Found out these "fish" came from Scotland very early & an English man staying at an Inn called "The Kissing Fish"(in Scottish & with a carved sign that looked like the earrings) went back to England & made a bracelet in this design for his wife. She wanted earrings too so he made them & her friends loved them & the design traveled all over Europe. True story dated 1260. Nice!
