enigma @asungot I believe it would, the way the dress is made, I believe you could have the Ruffle 'false hemmed' higher, so either hem and reattach ruffle, or fold up and hem ruffle higher..for at the most $25, maybe less..IF you wanted a much shorter length. Personally, I find it looks classier longer..I would adjust the hem pricing for you, if you wished to purchase 😘

enigma @asungot oh! no, it doesn't need any repairs. It's brand new. I was saying, should you wish to turn this into a shorter version, it would be an easy adjustment for your seamstress.
