golyndsey @sheelagoh The designer was Layana and she had designed a Barcelona inspired jacket (which the panel disliked - looked too "mature"... LOL! This would have been FAR better!!!). I am all the way cheering for Michelle! Her stuff is amazing. I would buy it all day long. Even that breastplate in "ugly" brown! Lol! 🌹❤🌹

sheelagoh I can't stand Layana, way too immature, and her garments always come off as quasi slutty, to me @golyndsey I like almost everything Michelle comes up with although I do wish her designs would celebrate the female form just a touch more.

golyndsey @sheelagoh Amen to the Layana comment! She came across like a Forever 21 designer. I expect something AMAZING from designers on PR... One of the dresses I love LOVED was that yellow and black textile print dress that Michelle and Stanley made. I think it will boil down to one of those two. But I have been wrong in the past... Lol!

golyndsey @sheelagoh Though, I have to say, that Patricia, with her incredible ability to design textiles, may do very well when given more than ten hours to complete a garment... But I just have to rant that there is NO WAY Daniel should still be there. His stuff is HORRID. (In my humble opinion) ❤😘❤

sheelagoh The unfortunate thing about Patricia is that her garments walk a fine line between art and wearable art, and more often than not, they're somewhere in the middle. And that's not something you want in a competition like this. You want artistic yet pieces that can actually be worn. There's quite a bit of Kawakubo and Watanabe in her designs sans the wearability factor @golyndsey Daniel, on the other hand, is a true couturier where construction is concerned. It's his aesthetics that appear stuck in a time warp :) I loved his Berlin outfit though, that's my go-to look most days, with a coif that's less tall GRIN

golyndsey @sheelagoh I will agree that his Berlin piece was good and what he did with white pleather was impressive. My favorite piece from him, though I could never pull it off, was the strapless corset-like chiffon number. I thought that was great.

golyndsey @sheelagoh LOL! Sounds like my baby! At thirteen, she has a larger designer collection than I had in my late 20's! The thing I love most about fashion is the convergence of left and right brain. You must master both in order to obtain true genius. ...That and how freaking amazing you look when you are head to toe gorgeous!!! Lol!
