I bought this shirt from carlymarley2001 closet and there was a hole in the back of the shirt. I contacted seller to see if something could be worked out b/c she said she wasn't aware of it. She agreed to buy something from my closet, or give me credit towards her's to make up for the damaged shirt but she never followed thru with either and now she has blocked me from her closet. To me, this is not honest selling etiquette, and So that's why I am posting this message.

clousertherese Thank you for posting this. I am fairly new and this happened to me but the lady wasn't going to refund my money back so Poshmark took care of it and gave me a credit. I kept the jacket that was suppose to be a L wasn't I sent Poshmark 4 pic's of the item and then it was posted for everyone to see. I just want people to be honest. I was raised the hard way or u can say the old way! Hang in there. What goes around comes around good luck 🌹

hunnybee02 @mslipe I hate dishonest people! I bought a necklace from here but made the mistake to purchase through pp the seller sent the package with no necklace. Seller swore she put it in there. Never again will I do pp I was out!!

trss37 I'm sorry this happened. I just sold an authentic Tiffany pendant to @juicyaddict and she claimed she received something completely different. I was furious because it was a genuine $1600 Tiffany pendant. My husband had to try to get a proof of purchase from Tiffany etc etc it was a lot of stress but Poshmark declined her claim and I got the money at least. I'm upset though that a scammer like that exists and lies through her teeth and got my beautiful pendant. But pls be careful there are some shady people here who are trying to deceive honest people!!

cmb1972 Good to know! I'm new to this site and have bough 5 things,( 3 over $600) the ladies were honest and delightful to work with! But, I asked a seller about an item ( pretty pricey, for the state of the specific item) and she went off the handle ( pretty vulgar!) Claiming" hard to find" which means discontinued, and beat up! I was shock by her response! But learned a good lesson! Asking looks off questions will show me who is who! And what they are really selling, after all I'm the one with the money!

cmb1972 I agree with the lady afraid to post her things; I feel the same way all my things are designer Cartier, Chanel, Valentino, Tod's etc... Purses and shoes and jewelry my passion! And really don't need to sell anything.(I, have an only child, girl 8 years old) all beautiful classic things, that she will get a lock out off😉 I, think I will just buy for a while and see... The lady with the Tiffany pendant just broken heart! !glad it work out. Dishonest people make me sick!

mvwrenn I am fairly new to pm as well. Item was inexpensive. No problem. I was aware of handle damage but the inside was completely white (purple purse). I tried to talk to seller off line but she blocked me as well. She didn't think it was that bad. Got offended when I said I was going to donate. It wasn't worth fixing the damage. Be careful.

mslipe @mvwrenn it's crazy wht people get try to get away with online:(( this is my first experience w/ online selling or shopping of any kind so I was definitely taken by surprise at all the corruption that exists. It's too bad that its so hard to trust people

mvwrenn Take heart. We learn from our mistakes. Ask plenty of questions. None are dumb or stupid. I have s Paypal acct but have not used for this. Very reluctant. I am only buying for now. Will be listing soon. My item was only 10.00 and she gave the major damage which I was prepared to fix but the bag was cheap cheap And filthy inside. It seems they are allowing anything to be sold not just better quality.

mvwrenn I cleaned the bag with dawn dish detergent but it was not worth fixing. Per the shoe maker, I needed to cut my losses. Lol

mvwrenn I buy primarily bags they don't have to be leather but at least a good imitation. Ur in the wrong business if u don't want to divulge what a bag is or make believe it is something that it is not. This is when we may need to take the cl from class. Lol

treannesfrocks I am dealing with something similar. I bought three items from one seller. One was a black dress, one a Calvin K cardi, and the other a white shirt. I asked her specifically if there were any marks on the sweater. She said she had never worn it. There's a large, dark brown stain on the front of it. The "dress" is, at best, a short tunic. I am just over five feet and it doesn't even cover my butt. The shirt, which was listed as in great condition, looks like a scrub rag. I have contacted the seller three times to no avail. I hate when people are dishonest. It takes then fun out of poshing... 😞

starchaser3044 I've had 2 ppl screw me over . The first one was a girl who sold me 2 Abercrombie & Fitch shirts and an A&F sweatshirt . The sweatshirt was dirty & had stains . One of the shirts had a few small holes in it . I told her & she asked me to email her pics & the never responded . Then recently I had purchased a pair of A&F jeans and the girls sent me children's size . She swore that's what I wanted . I told her why would I order a size I KNOW for a fact wouldn't fit me ??? Then she stopped responding . Then I bought a pair of Ugg boots that were supposed to be brand new . They were ripped in a couple spots in the back . She was supposed to give me a hefty discount on my next order . When I found a pair of Frye shoes I really really liked she wouldn't do it . Now I write down exactly what I'm supposed to be getting the size & price .
