I still have 25 lbs and/or 2/3 sizes to go 😉I got out of 16s into 14s and I'm working my way down to a 12 next then hopefully an 8/10... that's the goal (30 lbs by my 30th b-day). I had lost 10 already but gained a few pounds back so now I'm being extra good.it's gonna take some effort at the gym.

My daughter turns 6 this year and I have got to keep up with her! Gotta get into shape for her at least, and for me. I used to be a runner and I miss THAT body. But that was a decade ago, and pre-baby, plus I broke my back in a car accident in 2004 so now I can't run anymore and have to be more creative with my workouts. My big thing is my mid section. That tummy is the worst for me! But I'm more determined than ever! I'm going to be trying Zumba at my gym. I'm super excited about it 😄

@nidagetsemail the biggest help I've found so far is cutting portions sizes. No second helpings, smaller sides, and always add a green veggie and water to every meal. And don't ever skip breakfast even if u just have a piece it fruit, otherwise your body stores the fat. Yuck! My metabolism is definitely getting more even and burning calories better. I also recently made the switch to organic foods. It's a lot healthier. No pre-processed packaged foods will save you a lot of unneeded calories and artificial junk in your food your body doesn't need. I feel a lot healthier and list my first ten pounds that way. Only gained a few back because I ate crap when I had 2 weeks of finals last semester in grad school. Ugg! Must have more self control! LoL! Trust me girl u can do it. If I can do it, anyone can. ☺

@khattie I spy the same pinup couture dress in your closet photo that I own! The cherry print Heidi, I believe :) have to sell mine as its wayyyyy too big now - thank goodness for Posh so I feel a little better parting with it as a sale vs donating. Have to buy me some more pinup couture soon though.

@khattie the Heidi was my first Pinup buy, too :) I'm making sure I've stopped switching sizes before I buy more, though. Once I maintain for a decent amount of time, it's on! I always said I'd do a pin up style photo shoot if I ever hit my goal weight, too. I've hit and exceeded it so guess I should look into doing it now, lol.

@shop4meplz thanks 4 the kind words and support 😊 Yes, finding the right clothes suit weight changes can be a horrifying experience! Posh does help alleviate some of the sticker shock at least, with having to change out some of the clothes so quickly. My XLs and 16s I was in forever, but some of the 14s that are already loose still have tags! Poshmark helps my wallet and my waistline and some of these awesome ladies definitely give me further motivation, in a good way!

Khattie, I just took the time to read all of your "Meet the Seller" and I was so suprised to see how many of us are trying to lose weight which then again I guess I shouldn't have been I mean we are women it is one of our top concerns no matter how thin we are. I also am on that same roller coaster. I started a year ago at 298 and I'm now at 160, my goal is 130 and I hope by next summer I'm there, but of course if I don't stop breaking bones so I can get off my butt it's going to be a lil rough! Bikinis here I come!! Anyway the reason I'm texting you is and I hope you don't mind me asking you a question or two but I'm thinking of starting my own closet. I have bags and boxes for mailing but how do you do the packing labels? Thank you!

@carafe don't give up! U can do it! I've had some setbacks too. U just gotta keep SETI g new mini goals til u reach the bigger ones. Poshmark makes the shipping really easy. When someone purchases from your closet, posh emails u the shipping label. All u have to do is print it out and tape or glue it to the box. If u bundle and its over 2 lbs (usually 3 or more garments) then u can request and print out a higher weight shipping label. Some people pass this cost on to the buyer while others cover it as part of he assumed bundle savings. I find its usually worth it to bundle even if u pay a little extra for shipping sometimes because u sell faster and ur buyers tend to be repeat customers. 😉

Most of my pets have been adoptions/rescues and I've had quite a few happy kitties, doggies, bunnies, etc. they just find me! Lol!. @mirr0r_mirr0r hi there! That's very kind of you. I find blog style shots with nice scenery or flat lays on a white background both look equally nice. I also sometimes use a mannequin. It just depends on the item and what I'm trying to show. I use an app called picstitch for a lot of my editing. I use to other apps too but that's my go-to most of the time.

Users cannot change their user names, however poshmark has been known allow change of a user name under certain situations and they will do it manually. Good luck!

I really like your closet & the fact that you stated "looks compliant " on that aspect... I have some big shop selling bikinis as that or bikini top and bottom as "shorts". No NWT. Isn't it against policy to sell bottoms unless an official boutique ? My understanding on policy was no panties, bikini bottoms etc allowed w/out NWT. If I follow them back, does that paint a negative reflection on me? What are your thoughts on this please?

@blovelyboutique swimsuits are okay, but as far as selling the nighties you cannot include any panties unless they are new with tags. Bras, dresses, slips etc. are all fine. Hope that helps. Good luck!!

@getitgirl122375 your closet looks pretty good. I’d make sure all your photos are right side up for consistency. There are apps you can use to correct size and orientation like picstitch, and even add cute little details from apps like A Beautiful Mess. Also try to add more listings. You’ll find sales go up when you hit 100, 250, 500, etc. good luck!!! 😽💛😻

@isabelnasser you go to “find people” and then click on new poshers and share one listing from each new person. Just go down the line of new people. I’m not sure what the exact number is but the goal is to get to top 10% it doesn’t take as much as you might think. A few days work maybe to get there. Check out poshmark analytics sandbox group on FB for more details on how to do this 💛

Got a question and not sure where to find the answer. I see some people posting 'gently used' makeup. Is that a thing? Is it allowed? I have some eye shadow palettes with only a few colors used once.

I am so glad you wandered into my closet I have a little bit of everything as you can prolly tell! So grateful for weight loss hypnosis, I am now an 8 from a Size 24W! What you see are all the items in between those so many never worn we launder all untagged and have all tagged steamed for great pics! Live with a house full of Fashionista's! We love to shop! Congrats on the business success. I was hoping to eventually make something like what you’ve got going, but life had other plans and now I am on my way to China and don’t have a relocation budget. Which is to say I’m selling everything that I can’t take with me, which is two 🧳🧳.

Im still trying to upload photos of a lot of my thing as and it’s slow going, so I’m not sure if it’s price them low or enter them all and then do an across the board reduction...suggestions? I haven’t been working since school let out and already taken a loan against my teaching to afford the plane ticket there...selling my stuff sure would help, but I’ll have to send it to thread up or the goodwill by August if I can’t move it out.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

@khattie yes she did accept it and gave me a 5 star rating; THEN 3 days later came back and said she did not receive both sheets. I packaged them TOGETHER with tissue and tape. Then she goes back and rates it one star and puts a bad love note🤬😢. I’m flabbergasted over this. I reached out to posh 3 times with no response.

@txblingqueen we’ve all had bad ratings. Don’t worry if it’s not a 5 start eating no one will be able to see the love note anyways. At this point I’d let it go and move on. It sucks she may or may not have received everything but it sounds like you were thorough so I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless Poshmark gets back to you about it.

@khattie she must have found it; because 2 hours ago it shows she rated me AGAIN. No stars. Nasty comment REMOVED. I reported this to Posh. I think she FOUND IT. But she’s not going to apologize. It’s ok with me. She might not have a full deck. Don’t KNOW. She could be a stroke victim that is still living; but damaged. I’m not going to judge anyone.

@khattie I don’t ever get bad ratings. I think I have had 2 out of 189 ratings. It’s very important for me to keep my 5 star rating and FAST shipper status. I think it helps with my sales. This is my job.

I love all your animals. I lived on the family farm and raised everything from horses; cows; deer; chickens; llamas. Ducks. Dogs. 28 cats. It was the time of my life. It’s been 5 years now since I’ve done that. I miss it and my mom😔
