vtgralphlauren I had a buyer request for me to ship via overnight shipping once, she offered to pay the upgrade charge as well. I was wary because there’s no integration for this on Poshmark but it worked out SO smoothly for me, and my buyer was very happy.

vtgralphlauren I was always under the impression you couldn’t do this because it would generate a new tracking number (so that wouldn’t cooperate with Posh’s delivery system) — not true as long as you take it to the post office and ask to upgrade the shipping at the counter. I also asked the clerk if it would retain the original tracking # and they confirmed it would.

vtgralphlauren The service you want is Priority Mail Express. Charges start at $23.75, so I had my buyer me $30, so I made sure I had enough to cover the postage, and let them know I would refund the difference once I got the actual cost from the clerk. The calculator on the USPS website isn’t entirely accurate because they aren’t factoring in that you’re paying to upgrade a label that’s already partially paid for.

aviebabyaves Has anyone upgrade shipping and sent an item via overnight priority mail recently? I was told by the post office that you cannot upgrade a prepaid label and that there was no way to keep the same tracking number.

cchristiana I tried at the post office yesterday and it didn't work. They said it can be done. They said the same thing when I called USPS customer service. They needed over $50 for Priority Express (overnight) for a dress!
