Just to further implement this... Keep in mind Poshers... Party Hosts typically shop around and "like" items to share to parties prior to party. I've over heard MANY hosts say they decide to no longer share listings to parties after liking them because of the "interested Hun" responses they so often get for the like! And I often don't "like" an item if I see "interested?" In the comments a lot bc I don't want haggled! And I go back and buy a lot of my likes! However, if someone likes several of my listings, I do sometimes reply with my bundle discount/policies. In a polite, no pressure, only trying to be informative way!!

^YES! Agreed :) Very much so!! Posh etiquette should be a REQUIRED reading to use this app ;)

ms_wang24
@tarabailey_ Similar to forms where they make you click "agree" or "I have read...and agree..." Lol

Sometimes I will unlike an item just because people are sooo pushy! It's so silly and annoying!

I couldn't agree more with this!! It's one of my "posh pet peeves" ;)

@ms_wang24 @barnezv I got so sick of this that I started taking screen shots of my likes instead of liking them! And yes the etiquettes should be required reading :)

@sixtine79 I seriously do the same thing! I'd rather go without something I love than deal with the "interested hun"'s! ERRRRGHHHH! Lol sorry sweets--I just 100% agree with y'all on everything on this post!

Being a newbie I am glad I happened upon this list -- just browsing I saw a lot of this.
I think NO REQUESTS for TRADES should also be included in this list I see it in almost all the comments. Yet it is against Posh mark policy

๐ I tried the "interested" when I started on posh a few months ago because I thought it helped sell items. I stopped because its SO annoying when pple do it to you!! Wish I saw this before... Oh well, live and learn ๐

@concept oh lol I'm pretty sure plenty of new posher don't know ๐๐๐. I'm glad people are catching on though :)

Amen! Another pet peeve is when someone negotiates a much lower price & you change it then they don't purchase....... Grrrrr :)

I'm new to Posh and I hate all the interested Hun comments when I like an item! Ummmm I liked the item so yeah I'm interested. Btw how does one get a host pick besides having a fabulous item? I mean how do hosts sift through the massive amount if stuff to find their favs?
Nov 16Reply

ms_wang24
@avenlove Hi! Welcome to Posh! After some time on this app, ladies tend to find closets they keep revisiting, and favorite closets develop. Hosts tend to visit their favorites during a party, search by their favorite brands, or share their "liked" items :)

Sadly I notice by 'sharing' an item they ask also!๐ I'm like really!?!? ๐ but I try not to be rude by simply saying, I'm just sharing' or not answering at all. How is that even possible, I showed no interest just love lol

@ms_wang24 thank you for this. Also.....can the word "Hun" please be eliminated from the English language?
Feb 26Reply

mrsluu13
Usually when I see a like in my closet I will reply with "Thanks for the like (so and so) let me know if I can answer any questions"... I personally don't like the "huns" and "sweeties"... anyone think my type of reply is annoying?
Feb 26Reply

ms_wang24
@mrsluu13 I think for some Poshers they use it as a bookmark. To come back to or share to a party. Half my likes aren't even my size or for me lol, I like to bookmark to share to my followers periodically. For people who get a ton of notifications, it may be an annoyance. Everyone poshes differently I guess :)

Thanks @ms_wang24, I guess for myself I only use is it as stuff I will hopefully buy :) I guess I think in those terms when asking likers... I'll keep mind of that perspective.

I have made many sales by simply asking! It IS a good sales technique. But it can be annoying. Tough call. Lol

I'm really glad that I am not the only one on posh that thinks it's really annoying when people ask if you are interested. I also will avoid "liking" a listing when I notice the the sellers bother people. I have also clicked "unlike" because the sellers who ask if interested also seem to inform all the "likers" when they reduce the price.

I can't stand 'hun' or better yet 'love' ๐ซ
