Then of course, the same day I cancelled, she shipped!! Before I even received the item I emailed posh to let them know. The item was great, she finally got her money. I guess I could have been dishonest and kept without her ever getting her money.😐

I know some girls who did it for every transaction who are now in some real deep shit! We're talking 20+ transactions and each shipping label at $7 would be in the ballpark of $140+! If you don't pay you don't get your closet back.

kayblinky @nrssnyder people do this with sales too. The fact of it is that whether your item is $0 or $25 you still buy through posh and pay the $7 shipping charge for the email label and some people choose to cancel it so they're refunded the $7 and ship for free. Or so they think.

ccladybird I don't see how poshmark would force you to pay the balance via PP. That makes no sense. I don't even have PP so how could they force me to? If anything they'd just detract it from your credit card, which they already have on file. And in the terms and conditions there's nothing against this, BUT there is something against using PP. Where did you obtain your description from? Is it published somewhere on poshmark?

kayblinky @ccladybird they don't take it off your card... They email you and explain the situation, and how to get your account reactivated by paying via PP or check if you don't have PP. Then they unfreeze it once you pay and send them another email saying that you won't do it again, blah blah. If you don't pay, you don't get your account back, and your closet will Forever look like this.

ccladybird I know they won't take it off my card. I was saying (and assuming) that if we got 'free' shipping then the payment would be charged and then later removed from my card from the cancellation. Does that make sense? I was saying that in regards to the fact that I've done like four trades and they charged me for all of them so I won't have my closet banned.. At least I don't see why I would. This is the first time I've seen it in writing though

If they deactivated my account after ONE time of canceling a label then best believe they'll find the others doing it more. And posh were smart they'd automatically deduct it from your card on file because as it stands people can just simply not pay and create a new account.

After reading the listing it appears your upset that she didn't want to trade thru Poshmark but instead wanted to do it on her own- you said her closet could get shut down for doing that- Closets do get shut down for trading when you 0 out the listing and only pay shipping, it flags Customer Service- when you trade with a respectable trader that you trust and ship on your own and then delete the listing your not sending a flag to customer service- if Poshmark decides to peek in a closet and sees numerous 0 listings sold it can get your closet shut down- just stating facts....Have a great day!

OMG she said it doesn't cost anyone she said Posh pays a set amount monthly an it's the same fee no matter how many labels get sent out!! She said the monthly agreement that Posh pays let's them pay only .30 cent per label an all that $6.50 more they charge is all profit!! It made me feel like Posh was making a fortune off of us!! roxymao Not only is this brilliant, but what this really signals is that Posh needs to be in the business of shipping labels! I honestly don’t mind paying the $7 for a label, but could you just generate it for me? :) really saves the hassle of going to the post office or filling out the details online, and I would bet for others too. Posh product team, please think of this as another feature to help small businesses.
