bschuler She'd never hurt anyone? Really? I'd be afraid she'd wrap her big fat body around me and eat me head first. Not sure if she'd constrict me first or suffocate me as she swallowed. andrea_27s Lol I know I had to cut the bottom out to get to him. And yes try are awesome. I had a large iguana too which was funny. He loved to wack my all to curious cats. Favorite cold blooded critter is tarantulas hands down. I got my son a snake when he had just turned 4 but it died :(. It was a corn snake. Not sure what went wrong. I fed him two live pinkies and he died the next day

andrea_27s Lol. I hate scorpions and hissing coach roaches . The iguana was another roommates but he was was kind to me guess because I have him all the fresh goodies. He seriously lived in a large cage were my kitchen table should have been. The spiders are odd because they have no memory of being touched. Each time is like the first time and if they ever kick there hairs off on you. ahhhhh!! Itches so bad. I'm not sure what happened with the snake. I didn't have him long but he looked and acted healthy. My son wanted another one but I think I will wait tell he's older. A corn snake was all I could afford at the time or we would have gotten a neater one :)

And a scorpion a big black one, I called venom and poison. Lol! I had thorn, my boa.... But he died! ...he did not want to eat!:( darn! Wow....this is amazing, so freakin big. villagethrift4u My favorite snake ever! Mine passed away when I was in the academy for 6 months, she was the sweetest girl ever... I use to be able to kiss her on the head. Never found one yet as sweet as her. I miss her 😔 so awesome pic sweetie... Girl after my own heart. I rescued this berm from someone who put her in a car trunk over night in the winter. She had an upper respiratory infection I cleared up. She was 44lbs and over 11 feet. I gave her to this pet store when she was healthy cause I hated feeding her rabbits .... Lol he had these retics that were 22 feet.... His other one was 17, He liked him some big snakes. Their head was as big as mine... They were so cool to look at! Too big for me!!! That berm was a bit too much for me... I named her medusa .... Lol

One time I came home and the parakeets feathers where hanging out of the iguanas mouth.... Poor bird. I knew they ate some meat but i never knew they would eat a darn bird.

It was so funny when people use to come over... They would be like... Wtf is that... I use to call her the trash can for short cause if my boa didn't eat her rat I would give it to Medusa... She would probably eat until her stomach exploded.

I'd love to get a python or a boa about this size, but there's always that fear in the back of my mind that it'll snap at me one day. I try to go for the less aggressive species, but, I also think I need to have more experience with snakes.

It's like that show "Fatal Attractions". You have to accept that you animal may kill you at one point haha. You think you have a unique bond with them (like the guys with tigers and bears) but they're always going to be wild. I said go big or go home(;

And below that are heating pads that are at 100 degrees(: And actually, boas pee solid haha it's weird but their urine is really dry so it's easy to clean up ☺️ And I bathe her sometimes but she mostly sleeps underwater (she loves her pool) so she's usually clean 💞

i0uonegalaxy7 Lol because they'll "eat the cats" and "bite" is his excuse. I told him they only bite if you don't wash your hands after feeding them and if you train them to only eat in a feeding tank they almost will never bite and even if they do, it doesn't hurt haha.

We watched Animal Planet together.. LOL (she liked the snake shows as long as the peoples were nice) As far as your friend who asked if snakes had "personalities" I will have to agree with Rachael.. Mine had more personality then some PEOPLE I know!!!I was BROKEN when she got sick on me.. I SPENT OVER $1000 TRYING TO SAVE HER, but she got a bone disease common to snakes in captivity & we caught it too late :( :( She died on Christmas Day, 2010 & I miss her!! My girl only got about 4ft long though... You are doing something right there girl.. if she is 15, you have had her most of your life then right? They can love a VERY long time.. Thanks for sharing, I love the 1st "kissy" picture.. too stinking cute! Mine used to give "snakey" kisses too..and she DANCED! Medusa is a real beauty.. kinda like you! ~Gotta show my daughter this, she will LOVE it!!

My boyfriend works for Jerry Van Amburg (famous leather worker) and people pay for hunts and just send the hides to him xD I've been to Jerry's house a lot and there's just literally thousands of hides in his house so we just get the hides from him haha☺️ they're definitely gorgeous though.

You're just as pretty and every guy that has had you is definitely lucky :p I'm actually not with my guy anymore aha I waited for him 4 months while he was in jail, skyped every day. I drove up there when he got out and his best friend walks up to him and flat out lies; tells him we slept together when he was in jail. That was that😒🔫 But I'm still doing leather work with him so that's kind of cool(: I absolutely love the kid & one day he'll realize I'm the most loyal girl he'll ever have haha but that's awesome about your diving with them!

Snickers was so gentle, but like all animals, he couldn't talk to tell me he was hungry so if I was holding him he would give a little squeeze and I knew it was feeding time 🐭 he never bit me but when I had a hamster that sucker drew blood daily... I wish Medusa Many Many Many more years with such a loving owner!

clothesboss What a beauty! Most people never see the sweet side of snakes....I used to be very afraid but ride out on a path in the swamp where I love and I've gone right up to them.....the black snakes will let you touch them on their head. Pretty sweet considering they are wild.

girlrandi @shady101 Lawwwwward! I sure hope you keep a lid on that! I had a friend that had one left the lid off it's tank.... They go by infrared,heat sensors. He was across the street his daughter came home(night) she is 14. She went to bed, it crawled out of its tank and made it's way under her bed. When she got up in the middle of the night it latched onto her calf gaining leverage wrapped itself around her whole entire torso and started tightening down she could hear her ribs popping in the nick of time her father came home saw what was going on.... Needless to say I don't have one anymore and never will. Anyway... You're a very progressive looking chick like your style
