idahotammy @munci the tips and rules should always be documented. Just one thing; trades are allowed it is up to buyer and seller. You really want everyone to know u do not trades. I agree with that. I only have 2 friends I trade with. You have an awesome closet and it needs to be respected good job

joannk Take pictures on my phone and the memory full and cant take more pictures. Also, took a package to post office it needed more postage so I paid the extra and still used the posh label and now I am getting e-mails that it wasn't sent. They are not real prompt at getting back to you if there is a problem or question.

munci @jnnich You know...thatnis more of a personal decision. We are supposed to domit, or at least, Poshmark ask that we do it. Everytime someone does Paypal PM looses money and it is not fair to the ones that follow the rules, thus, giving up 20% off the sale. Everytime someone sells replicas, is a huge potential for scamming if someone does not know the difference.. Most of all, it is against the rules. I know some people do it and some do not report as in the long run those sellers will be caught. We are asked to do it but I will leave that decision for younto make :)

munci @jnnich Besides, Poshmark needs to make a profit in order to stay in business. If everyone did Paypal Poshmark would not exit. One more thing.....Never give out your email address. A legit clean transaction should be made here with all questions answered or extra pics posted. If someone asks for your email address, most likely, they want to do an offline transaction or try to access your information.

Also I noticed when I added some items to my closet that when I shared it, that a party was listed as an option in addition to "my followers". So I am confused on how a party was listed on some items and not on others. The majority of my items are only shareable to my followers?? Thanks for any help you can provide!

munci @beancountergal Hi! Nice to meet you~~First of all, some parties allow you to list every item in your closet while others don't. This happens in the event that the party specifies brands or accessories or just shoes, boots, denim, etc. In this case when you share your items if you have categorized your item correctly (in the listing description), the program will automatically prompt you to share it to that party. More specifically, if you have a pair of jeans but you categorized it as pants and not as denim, when you share to a denim party, the program will not recognize that it is denim and will not allow you to share to that party. Rather, it will share it to your followers. Secondly, you can share your items in two different ways. One is by clicking on the sharing icon or by clicking on edit listing. The first one, will always share automatically to your followers. The second one will give you the two options you are talking about. Also, when you edit, your item will read "updated 4 minutes ago" and so forth, therefore, showing you are active. Some people may share the other way and even though they are active their items may read updated December 2013. Some parties like the ones at night let you share every item in your closet (It seems that the ones that are specifically categorized happen during the day). Once you share your item to the party you can not share it again. The program will let you but your item will appear in the party only once and that will be the first time you share it. You can share it to your followers after that as many times as you want to. I hope I did not confuse you. It is easier if I showed you but I can't in person :) Please let me know if I can answer anything else.....

munci @stormandstone hay happens is that unfortunately there are some that are not honest and can scam you with something damaged, etc. Poshmark does not stand behind your purchase to recuperarte your money because since you traded your purchase is not protected. You just take a chance and trust you are getting what you are told. Hope it helps!

just_dandy You can trade. It is legit by Poshmark. As long as they get their $2.95 fee, you are responsible for the transaction. But it is not forbidden. It's just a personal decision and can be read more about in the FAQ's section💜

lakeforest @munci Hi Munci, I went back here again to your great advice thread 😊👍💗 and was trying to look for an answer to a question, maybe you know? Ok, when we decide to reduce the price of an item, will a push notification be sent to all of my followers and/or those who actually "liked" it after we've gone in and edited the price and shared it? On another site I'm on, if an item I've "liked" goes on sale, I'll get an immediate notification, almost like a text message that will show up on my iphone & ipad.. I've looked at all my settings here and unless I've missed something, I don't see this. I often wonder when I reduce the price of something in my closet and then share it to my followers if they'll see it at all? Or does it just show up in their "feed"? It seems like many discounted things could be missed because in each of our feeds, there's so much stuff to browse through... Am I making any sense? Lol... Thxs!🌸 it would greatly benefit us when we're trying to sell something & also benefits the potential buyer since they're getting an item "on sale". 🌸

You have to share for people to see it or if a person has liked the item and goes back to see it will be able to see the new price. Every time you share it it will show in their feed with the new price as well. Hope this helps.....

My advice to have a great experience is to follow all Posh rules, and follow and share other Poshers' closets as well as your own. If you do these things, you should have no problem making new friends and sales! Also- never give out your email on Posh, among all the lovely ladies are a few scammers.
