shedreamscaviar I an new to posh and yesterday I had someone ask for my email. I did not give it to them because one I did not know them and two I figured whatever question they needed to ask they could ask me on Poshmark. Could you please enlighten me as to why ppl. on here do this?

sammyward @adamjr1 @shedreamscaviar People are hacking into emails for what I'm not sure, the trading and Paypal thing cuts poshmark out of their commission for maintaining this site and sending you the addressed postage label. We all should play by the rules but there will always be some who try to get away with doing things their own way.

Just wanted to let ya know I received an email from posh because I was asking about the trading thing, its not necessarily against the rules but they don't stand behind it. you're just SOL if it doesn't go good. the selling of lotions, perfumes, electronics and undergarments (that aren't new) are a huge no no though. I had my account closed for a day when I first started for selling perfumes and lotions :( just thought I would let ya know since I noticed you said you were still pretty new. the rules on here are so strict! happy poshing! and good luck with sales!

zipper Thanks for sharing and the good discussion about trading. I've only been on posh for a few month I like to go through the closets and read comments. The Horror stories about trading are crazy. Dishonest people are out their waiting for you to mail your stuff and then they don't send you the items you trading for. It's not really fair for us to play by the rules while others don't text me for a price text me for information. They don't sell anything on posh! And yes email accounts have been hacked! Well what can you do! Follow the rules to keep yourself safe.💗

mandysbling @adamjr1 I've been Poshing since 2013. I give out an email that is specifically for inquiries and "other requested pictures") my brother owns a computer forensics company, so I know how t go about things. You can usually tell if someone is sketchy. I totally understand your point, and agree. You gotta be careful! Some stuff is confusing at first but you'll get the hang of it! 😘👍🏼❤️
