I promise it will be ok and some days are still hard, but there are so many things to do now without feeling guilty for not doing dinner on time or little things like that can help. Go out with just Ur husband or some friends or run around the house naked! No one will know but the hubby!

Your too sweet...I'll be 45 in June...my older two girls are from my husbands first marriage...but I have been the one to raise them and love on them these past 21 years...so they are mine. Our youngest is soon to be 18 in July...our only child together...I think that is part of it too a little. Thank you for the encouragement. I was really needing to hear your story. God is good! :)

I'm a mom of 3 as well. My daughter is married now & I have a 2 year old glambaby. My middle son graduated high school & decided to become a marine. My youngest son is 11. Not looking forward to him growing up!!!! β€οΈ

Sooo cute! And don't feel bad my husband that I was with for 27 years was shot and killed in a burglary, had to put father in law on life support and take him off my dad died on valentines day and now I'm taking care of mom in law who has Alzheimer's. Your kids will bring a smile to u in or out of the nest! Ty

I too, have 2 older children (my husband's from a previous marriage) who are now out of the house and now I "chomp on the bit" until I can see them next! So, it's a kind of whirlwind for me right now! I know that when my 16-yr. old goes to college, I will be completely out of sorts for a while.

Hello there! It's been 9 yrs since my youngest daughter left. I've never been Ok with it & find myself living in the past. Losing my car & independence yrs back def made it worse. I'm 49 & my daughter's are 30, 29 & 27. We sorta grew up together being a young Mother. All I know Is living doesn't hold the same meaning without my girls & If it wasn't for faith/hope of future days with them I would've given up a long time ago.
