cleighp Great video! I didn't know about the refresh for the email blast time period. So, is there a time period for the lowest price to refresh on your item? Or would you need to relist it if you wanted to change the historically low price?

cleighp Sure! So, when I drop my price 10% during closet clear out, a buyer gets discounted shipping. Well, if it is not 10% off the historically low price I've set for an item in the past, they dpn't get discounted shipping. Is there ever a reset on the historically low price?

ediza @s_rosebud it's really up to you! I like to have about 20-100 likes on something before I lower it. The more likes, the higher the chance it is for it to sell! Thanks for watching!! lesleyscloset Hi Ediza! do you think leaving a comment after someone likes an item may hurt? I see you don't leave comments and I'm wondering if I should do the same?😬 Also, after you do markdowns, do you leave it at that price for say a weekend and specify it's a sale? or do you keep it at the markdown price? thanks!!!

ediza @sobacat I never ever leave comments after someone likes an item. If someone is genuinely interested they'll do one of 2 things: 1) they'll buy it 2) they'll ask questions. In my experience I see that people do not respond well to being sold on an item. So I let people like an item and let the price sell them on it. If you watch my video it will make a lot more sense. I never say I'm having a "sale" per se. I let the price drop notification do that for me. I feel like if I had to say that I am having a sale in addition to a price drop, it's pretty redundant. Let the item sell itself! Its hard being in between having your items sell itself and being a "salesman". Once you find that sweet spot, then you'll be making sales fast!

smbro @edizarodriguez I watched your video on dropping prices so I tried it. One question for you is for example- I was out if town the last 2 weeks so I tried marking up all my items by about 20% and then when I got home (2 weeks later) I dropped them all back down again but once I dropped them back down the little arrow showing the discount didn't come up nor did anyone receive a shipping discount. Do you have to drop lower than it's ever been for buyers to get a discount? Thanks for your awesome video and time. Xoxo

laciesmiles I don't sell here but I do a lot of reading regarding poshmark. I personally like it when someone says something after I like it. I feel they are noticing that it has been liked. I'm more likely to ask a question and/or buy. Kind of like walking into a brick and mortar store and someone greets me or asks if I need assistance. That's just my opinion as a buyer.

Whenever I price drop my item I have just been going in to edit the listing but I don't believe it notifies the people who have "liked" and does not lower shipping. ediza @efeucht the shipping is targeted to the person, so sometimes they are offered 1.99 or it would stay at the 4.99. So it depends when you dropped it last etc.

When you drop prices to trigger the discounted shipping, can the buyer only hit the 'buy now' button to keep that shipping discount or are they still able to make an offer through the offer button?

ivyandthefox Second, I'm still confused when you say that the listing has a one week refresh rate and that you can't alter the listings in any way or the blast won't work? I lowered the price of my own item the other night, 3 times in a row and got the discounted shipping email each time! Any advice would be great! Thanks! 😘

ediza @hegghaut yes they have to hit buy now to keep that shipping. The email blast happens after 1 week of not touching it. That's not the same email as the dropped shipping, it just says that they lowered the item. But last I checked was October 2nd during Poshfest. The engineers and I pulled up the code to verify it was 1 week. It may have changed since then!
