I will measure it from back neck down, just to be sure, you said also to measure it from shoulder to bottom? Or shoulder to end of arm length? I'm getting my jacket and tape out now :)

tennybenny @pamspickens the length from back neck down all the way from top of the collar to bottom is 32inches, without collar from shoulder 29 inches, exactly 3 inches shorter than the total length from the back. Length of arms is 24 inches long from shoulder to wrist.

tennybenny The person in the picture is 5'4. The person is average built. The coat is a comfortable fit. If you tell me your mom's height and built I will be able to better assist you. :)

tennybenny @pamspickens oh yea, if she's 5'7 and slightly big boned, it might kind of be too snug around the arm area, shoulder and waist. I totally understand. Thank you for taking interest and hope to post more items that you may like :)) :))
