To late. Check ebay. People are buying for double and triple the prices. Resellers wouldn't do this any more if people wouldn't buy! I can understand 10$ more than retail, maybe more for heavier items like hammock and chair's since they'll be a bit to ship.

@ritzymint Lilly Pulitzer is a clothing line that I believed started in North. They're known for their colorful and fun beachy prints and usually pretty pricy. They just collaborated with target with a lower price point and everything sold out the first day (I also missed out on it!). I think a lot of ppl are buying to resell at a higher price point which sucks for the rest of the consumers.

Lilly pulitzer did not start in the north. Lilly Pulitzer is a palm beach upscale lifestyle brand. It was started by Lilly herself a socialite with a juice stand who made bright shifts to hide juice stains. It took off after Other socialites and Jackie O wore the brand.

Cool, okay glad to know!! That's the way business goes sometimes, it sucks for the buyers though. But if people are buying at mark up prices who can stop them. It happens with Jordan tennis shoe brand as well. If my son can't get them for original price he would by from someone at a higher mark up price. 💚

I don't buy that people got this stuff as gifts. You got 2 coin bags and stuff in random sizes as a gift and why would you give a gifted 50%. It was a gift. Keep it all. If it doesn't make sense it's not true.

I went to two store openings, one at 7 am and another at 8 am. I was around 10th in line both times and witnessed people grab whole racks and run. I was so upset because I spent months saving and I just wanted three things totaling $84. That's it. I hated people ruined it for all of us and Target did nothing to stop it.

@uvulisp It all happened by accident, in 1959 she opened a juice stand on Via Mizner, just off Worth Avenue in Palm Beach.
My add from another story about her: she served her juice while wearing a white apron. Some ladies complemented her on the great colors of the apron. That is how the colors came to be - different colors of the fruit she used. I think it is an amazing story and inspiration to all
