pdxlam @gabicakes I'm a size 26 typically in jeans, I can measure the widest part of the hip area for you when I'm home tonight? Or maybe I can take a model photo of them on me for you so you can see. A medium might be too big bc medium is like a 6-8 size. I think American apparel has more sizing descriptions on there site too

pdxlam @whitneydettmer it's hard to say since I'm not sure on your thigh width. I'm a typical size 2 and these are perfect for me, 25 inch waist and typical thigh size. Maybe referring to the American apparel site would help you
