I will ship this pendant on a 16" chain unless you specify otherwise. 14" would be a true choker on most people. 15" makes it short but pendant hangs just a bit more relaxed. Photo shows a 16" chain (with a different pendant also for sale), a good short length that isn't quite a choker. Measure a necklace you like for reference on your own neck size. Ball link necklace is silver toned brass , approx 1.5mm thick. I've always liked this style chain because my hair never gets caught in them like with regular chains and clasps. Pendant is a 1/2" vintage charm. I think it is abalone in resin and it reflects mostly green and gold
