marlanap Thanks. I did some Major Moving myself while I was gone. For 2 weeks, I was at my Ohio Family Home clearing out more of everything!!! It is where I grew up in a family of 6. We had lived there for over 40 years so you know there was still plenty left to move out considering only 3 of us are still living now. Being the youngest, LOL I get the "honor" of doing most of the clearing & ongoing upkeep. Well, I did come back with more great "Vintage" items I posted and am selling right now. (-:

marlanap Well, I did have hired help this time. but still do plenty all by myself. In past Moves, I had to do most of it myself, even when I was married. Since I was I took the more traditional role with him (cooking and cleaning even though I had a full-time job too!), I decided to do most of the packing myself. We women often do a better job handling Moves anyway. (Continued Below).

marlanap Having friends and family to assist you in your move is always a blessing. To some degree, I have had that. I hope you have it too. If you have to do most of it yourself, just do not overtax yourself and definitely take breaks when you feel too tired to keep working. Moving is a very sensitive subject for me as I am sure you guessed based upon my extended comments about it. (-: But I know you will Sigh and be so glad when it is finally over! Then the unpacking has to begin some time! ((-:

shelpen I worked as an Advertising Manager for almost 30 years with Dow. I worked with agencies, public relations, photographers, copywriters, trademark attorneys and a lot of other attorneys both within Dow and with our customers. It's a poem that is seen all over the place; they have posters of it, magnets, framed pictures that you can put on your nightstand.... it's an amazing poem. Very sad, but empowering at the same time. I think that it's one of those poems that we actually do write ourselves, in a way, as we grow spiritually, and learn to let go of suffering. (cont)
