I've posted photos of authentic vs. fake Burberry scarf. The top one is authentic directly from the Burberry store & the bottom is a fake one. Look at them very carefully. Make sure it's the right font & its centered & the stitching is even & not running into the writing as seen on photo 1. It has to look clean & perfect. This is for educational purposes so u know you're getting an authentic one. There are a ton of fakes out there so don't waste ur money. This is the current tag at the stores.

Look through the history of Burberry and lose the self righteousness that is SO prevalent in pm. That said, correct, there are a lot of fakes!!❤️

snowqueensgems I just saw the same fake Burberry scarf posted on eBay. They didn’t even have the right length and width dimensions printed on the tag. Thank you for this helpful reminder. P.S. to other Poshers: Please don’t sell standalone logo authentication cards. Not only is it against PM policy, but the vast majority of the buyers use them as “proof” for their fakes.

lisaanndrews @peytonthomas09 the label and weave look spot on for a vintage scarf. I was a bit unsure about the unraveling on the ends but I think given it’s age, that might be the culprit. That tag and the overall weave pattern indicate it is most likely authentic.
