Vintage Taxco necklace in a stunning style a la the celebrated mid-20th century Mexican jewelry maker Matl. This truly is an exquisite heirloom quality piece you will enjoy for years. Each baroque style link has an Amethyst center piece and Turquoise cab inlays, hand-crafted in Mexico of solid 925 Sterling Silver. Approximately 17" long. Amazing condition. Not sure if I want to sell it.

(cont) It's a challenging time for my family, and while i have to sell in order to support my daughter, I don't often think about buying things (unless they're things I need) because I don't go anywhere any more! Happy Easter to you and your family, too💗 no need to thank me-I truly empathize and understand. In my family it was a brain tumor. Hard to watch the transformation and the fear it causes. It's also hard on dads to have their children caregive at times. It is a blessing but I also think it must be difficult for men to go from the father role to being cared for.

@rmccouture I remember a few big milestones when it happened in my life was the heartache and indignation my dad had at not being able to drive anymore, when he couldn't remember words, do the NY Times crossword puzzle -he did that every day-or where he was (he had an eidetic memory so it caused him horrible frustration and was excruciating as his child for me to watch him be so upset).

@rmccouture then he lost the ability to walk so he had to use a wheelchair and I wished so hard to take away that pain from him because he felt stripped of his manhood with each debilitating stage😢 of course I have compassion, Amanda, as we all should whether you are the patient or caregiver-each comes with its own heartache and struggles. I wish you and your dad comfort and peace during this hardship. I will keep you in my prayers💗💗💗

@momogo I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. It is torturous. My father isn't really suffering; I mean, he has moments, but he's so detached from reality that it's not as hard on him as it is on the rest of us. I prefer to be the one to have the pain over him. If he was in pain, it would be so much worse, but he's just leaving slowly. Watching that makes me feel like the earth under my feet is unstable. I can't describe it. (cont)
