Let's talk in here instead of on an open listing. For the party, just go into the app on Jan 16 (sat) at 3 pm EST and share whatever is in your closet that matches the theme! Items can only be shared once to a party.

Don't sell so low you don't make a profit!!! I've found that a lot of the girls that make money on here just wait it out, honestly. The big thing is getting you followers and doing lots of sharing. I am in 2 flexible share groups (Hollywood Stars and Material Girl) who you sign up the day of you want to share. Some groups like Haute Posh Mama's share EVERY day, plus have separate daily share groups for evening parties.

Also, you should be on someone's tag list for parties and follow games. Follow games seem annoying at first, but they are the BEST way to get followers! I always personally congratulate a party host and share her party and her closet. I check if they want items tagged or just a shout out if you want to be looked at for Host Picks. That's how I get host picks

Back to profits.... I sell all my own clothes (I don't buy retail or from stores and resell) so I have a lot of leeway in my prices. However, I always negotiate offers, rather than just accept them, mark things as "Lowest $" once they are as low as I go, and mark a few things as "price is firm". I often write a personal note on the item or in a not for sale it in the buyers closet explaining why the item is that price and how much I'm willing to compromise. I'd say 80% that works out.

@gonecoastal thank you so much for the scoop. I do sell too low to try and entice but wind up giving stuff away. Gets frustrating or the people that lowball crazy hard! Almost all my stuff is new with tags never worn or worn once. I guess I just have to be more patient. I do need to join those followed groups I have signed up for many of the follow games but I am not a part of any follow groups I never really knew how that worked.

I had a bunch of coupons and things so I decided to try selling new things or going to closeout stores like marshals etc. to see if I could make more money but it hasn't proven itself justified yet. And then I don't Think there are many plus size people shopping here compared to regular size. I do go looking for them every day to follow by size and brand of clothing I'm like a stalking them Y size LOL

@juliegreen16 each day you do a share group you (generally) share 10 items from each lady's closet that signs up. So you might share 50 items that day, but you get 50 shares of your closet items. It reaches all their followers that you may not have. I make WAY more sales when I take time to do this! Only posh compliant closets allowed. You are compliant :)

@juliegreen16 Yeah, DEF less plus size on here. Which means the ones making offers should be more than willing to be reasonable! I have some that I bought for myself but can't decide if I want to keep so I listed :P If no one buys, it's mine! Haha.

@juliegreen16 Oh no, you can just go on their page and find the post where you can chat and ask. Be SURE TO read the details, some are no chatting, only signup/sign out! They will check your closet and let you know. Just tell them I recommended you. @morgue6feet and @iqclothessavvy each have one. @cinnamon111 has one for items just $25 and under. I do all 3 sporadically!

Can I jump in here please. abstractdreams has a post with a picture of Marilyn Monroe allowing curvy girl closets to advertise their closets. drizzymizzylove has a similar post in her closet with an awesome picture of curvy women in swimsuits chorus line. Then you can follow a lot of others with the same. I have a word doc with about 40 curvy closets. Hope that helps.
