I've been here since 2012, and there have always been those self-centered people who use every opportunity (except actually sharing😳) to try and make sales! Sadly Posh Mentor & "welcome new Poshers" stats have brought them out in spades.👎🏽@vickyss

This person was going to every new closet and being tge first to comment. She basically told people that she was moving and to come shop her sale. No hello, welcome, how ya doing!?! I commented that sheouble. should stop advertising and welcome people instead. Anyways, of course it got ugly and I got in trouble. 😞

triciatx @nic39 @abstractdreams @vickyss @restlessangel I know we aren't supposed to address issues, but it is so infuriating and nothing hapoens when you report it. I didn't say anything ugly, but she did and I got in trouble for starting the conversation I guess. I have had 2 warnings bc of this. I just can't sit around and not stand up for others if I see something really rude or wrong. :/

abstractdreams That also seems to not be recent. Sorry... because you're right, but it's best (and always PM Support advice) to not engage. The other thing I was reminded of when I saw it again in a new closet, is that canned note a LOT of ppl use in their "Meet the Posher" listing : "...be sure & comment so I can check out your closet too!" Seems to imply that's the thing to do.😕

triciatx @vickyss Yes, I have seen several people spamming meet the posher pages with app invitation codes. I have also noticed people getting Poshers to agree to download an app to make a sale and then not buy. They just dupe the seller to sign up, use the code, and get that person credit. Another thing is the listing I keep seeing with a spinner wheel on it. Not sure what that is exactly, but definitely an advertisement for another app.

triciatx I don't get why PM has now added Pay***, Apple Pay, etc It seems like that just opens a whole new can of worms. If PM is condoning people paying with Pay*** accounts, then it's a given that some sellers are going to take their transactions to that platform. I am wondering if they did that to be able to access accounts and see which sellers are violating off platform transactions. @vickyss @abstractdreams @nic39 @lisa2644

triciatx @msox73 It took me 3 months before I started understanding the parties. When I joined people didn't welcome me or give me any advice. I had to just figure it out and I was overwhelmed. Take your time. The best times to share are the hour before and after parties. There are 3 per day. I mainly share before and after the evening party. I will tag you on a few listings that helped me. No rush though. It's a lot to take in. 😘

brandybrands @triciatx when PM advertises a closet on the top of the news feed most people follow. Since our name has "!" Mark we stay on the top of the advertised page's follow list. Posters who browse followers are likely to follow the followers. I figured it with @djkhled and @poshfixings

brandybrands @triciatx tell me about it. I heard they are making some changes to Posh features + policies. They want to allow to use flat rate boxes, the seller can add a shipping discount, and there is an auto fill when you list an item. They mentioned it on instagram I think. Don't know when it will actually happen.

triciatx @loyalstore USPS has been refunding Poshmark all shipping since December 1st. They have been getting charged only the true cost to ship the item and pocketing the shipping + our commission. Complete BS! They are always changing something. If there is a way to pinch another penny out of buyers or sellers they do it. That is why they constantly add features. :/

brandybrands @triciatx I know many people turn away from buying because of that shipping cost. Wish they added first class and envelope type of features. Another thing that irritates me is that they have the same hosts for Kate Spade, Lilly Pulitzer, Tory Burch... parties. All the time all year long. Those host are always away and have 2mln followers. And ordinary poshers are on the wait list. I applied to be a host 3 months ago with no response.

triciatx @loyalstore It took 2 years for my 1st party:( They screwed up and skipped me. Hopefully you will hear something soon. You will likely get all 3 together like I did. It works well that way so you can cross promote your different parties. Parties are definitely a privilege. I get so upset when I see so many hosts that add non-compliant items right before their party or share their entire closet giving themselves 30+ host picks! We are only supposed to give ourselves 10 max.
