@tomi_o We're not really supposed to, but the Poshers that sell retail mostly use professional pics that are sometimes provided by their suppliers. I think those are okay. I would stick to taking your own cover shots. For one, it's an accurate depiction of what you're selling, and two, you never have to worry about copyright infringement. I can double check for you, but I'm pretty sure.

@kayhill69 hey there! I create them by using an app called "pic collage" it's free and has a lot of layouts to choose from. I have also started using another app called "word dream" but I don't know too much about that one since I recently downloaded it and I'm still getting used to it. But for sure pic collage is a good one to start with! 😊

@kayhill69 no you can't download it directly to Poshmark. It will give you an option to save it to your phone when you're done and you do that and then go into Poshmark and upload it in there. However you may need to adjust your picture because when you upload things on Poshmark it might come out bigger than you originally planned.

@kayhill69 you go into your items and lower the price by 10% from the lowest price that your item has been. So when you edit the listing and lower the price it will tell you on the listing that the price has been dropped by some percentage. Once you see that then Poshmark has automatically sent an email to everyone that has liked the listing and has given them discounted shipping. So all you need to do is lower prices and make sure that it says "price dropped...."

But there are a lot of names on my tag list and for you to stand out this is what most people do...they congratulate the host as well and then they thank the person who tagged them in the listing.

Unfortunately you would not be able to sell them through Poshmark, but that's really awesome that you made them! @kayhill69 hahaha it's okay! Well the only way you can do that is by tagging everyone in a post. That's the only way that you can let everyone see what you want them to see. However, you shouldn't just copy someone's tag lists because the people you tag might not appreciate it. And you shouldn't just randomly tag people because they may not appreciate it as well. You can start your own tag list if you want or just tag me in stuff to help you spread the word. Am I helping or confusing you? Haha

@fayepgarcia ohhh okay! Yes you have to email Poshmark at hosting@poshmark.com (make sure you meet their criteria for hosting which you can find at Blog.poshmark.com). If you meet their criteria for hosting, email them to ask to be a host and they will put you on the wait list. However the wait is long and can take a couple of months before you can actually host a party. 😊

@kayhill69 you have to share your items in your closet in the order that you want them to appear it. So for example, if you share all your shoes first then those will show up together at the bottom, then share all your purses then those will show up together above the shoes, and so on. I hope that helps! 😊

@leapederson sure! So there is really not much you have to do on your part. When the person purchase the bundle it will automatically give them the discount. Then Poshmark should email you the list of items they purchased along with the shipping label for you to ship the items all together. Did I answer it? Or just make you more confuse? Hahah

It's my pleasure! 😊 so when you get the notification that they added something to a bundle then you have to wait until they officially push the button that says for them to purchase the bundle. Then once they click that they want to purchase the bundle, the discount will be added and Poshmark will send you the list of what they order and the shipping label.

I actually don't have much experience with multiple sizes cause I don't have any items that are, but I assume they would give you the information in the email so that you send the correct size. Also I know that once a size has been sold out in your listing it will have a slash through the size so that people know that it's no longer available

Usually they just pre-select and then message you when the party happens. So that's why I was confused! But yes it is a host pick and she will share it to the party when it is that day! People choose to create one when they feel comfortable with the app and want to help out other people, so if you ever want to do that in the future go ahead but make sure to ask people first if they want to be on your tag list. But for now you don't really need one just yet.

For the follow game you should participate in them but like the listing, following everyone that liked it, and sharing the listing and that's it. In time you'll see your followers grow. And for the parties, the best way to get a host pick is for you to congratulate the host yourself after I have tagged in you in the listing!

So the parties are usually 9am, 12pm, sometimes 4pm, and 7pm PST 😊 and just add three hours to each of those for your time

Hi @tomi_o !! I just want to say, thank you so much for all of your wonderful help!! You're amazing! And I appreciate all you do more than you know. Forgive me if I'm slow for the next month, my job doesn't allow me to be in my phone or a computer since I'm one in one with patients all day. And for the next month and a half I'm taking an online course in the evening. So...I'll keep up as much as I can! Don't give up on me....I'll be in full force when my class is done! Posh away!!! Tomi hi there ! I got a trange email in my posh news from poshmarkm to me snd some other people were tagged and it said to go to posmarkrewards.com and there is none lol.then I clicked on poshmarkm and it said like following 3 and 1 follower.os that strange or no ?

@lizpink13 yeah I got tagged in another one too. It's just spammers that have nothing better to do. Just keep going into their page and reporting it as spam. Poshmark will be notified and will take it down. Hopefully this ends soon cause it's quite annoying

hey Tomi. I need advice. I am being overwhelmed with follow games and I pretty much have followed just about everyone on those things. I do like to be on posh party postings, but at least those have a defined end date. Bottom line is I never, ever go into my likes bc they are too cluttered with notices. I am on yours, Carolyn's and Wendy's lists. I love being on all your lists. This keeps me connected. I have no idea what to do?? Help please 😣🤔😣🤔

@ppamprrd mhmm I see...well what you probably should do is go through your likes and find your follow games. Go through and make sure you have followed everyone and then unlike the listing. So when you feel like your likes are being too filled then go in and unlike some of those follow games. I say this because there are so many follow games and so you will still keep finding new ones as time goes on.

Congrats on starting your own tag list! 👏🏾 when I first started mine back in August I just kept it as the first thing in my closet and so people would see it as they viewed my closet and eventually people started to join. So you can just let people find it naturally...however I can help you out and tag people and ask if they want to join another tag lists.

It's easiest to save their username in the notes in your phone and then when you see a party or follow game or sale or whatever you say what it is first and then copy and paste their names like I do...I would say follow game!!! And then add the usernames right after so it will help them immediately know what you are tagging them in.

I tried some others on but I couldn't stop thinking about the first one and I didn't want to get out of it! If I could get into it without any help, I would put it on right now hahaha but oh yeah my fiancé and I are both ready to finally be married...considered eloping at one point hahaha 🤔😂

@tomi_o well my sister and I are 2 years apart so we usually celebrate together, but sometimes her and my youngest sister will celebrate together instead (since their bdays are 1 day away from each other 😂) my grandparents live about 20 hours away by car so we usually just call and send birthday cards on his birthday but if we're visiting close enough to his birthday we will celebrate with him 😋😋

@lookyou hey there! Haha I don't really have secrets to selling all I do is follow a lot of people and share their items! So I go into the shop tab at the bottom of this app and click on all people and then I click on any one of the headings such as my brands or new people and then follow as many people as I can.

@lookyou Then when they follow me back it will be on my news feed and I will go into their closets and share their items. So it really goes back to following a lot of people and sharing their items! That's really all I do to sell my items and it can be tedious at times but it works.

@lookyou or sometimes when I see someone with a lot of followers I would click on their followers and follow all of them! That helps you gain followers as well! I hope this help! 😊

@lookyou do you mean host a Posh party? The way to do that is by visiting the Poshmark blog at the website poshmark.blog.com and search for hosting a virtual Posh party once you find that then follow the directions that they state. You have to meet a certain criteria and then you fill out an application online and then you will be on the wait list to host a Posh party

@lookyou And to host a Posh party you need to visit their website...blog.poshmark.com and search how to host a Posh party from there you will have to fall under the criteria that they list and then fill out an application. So check out their website cause it will explain it in more detail!

@lizharr hey there! Thanks for stopping by! The best advice I give to people is to follow a lot of people and share from people's closet! The more you share, the more people will share from your own closet which will help you get more sales! Also, make sure to keep a Posh compliant closet (which you have!) and that you're following all the rules on what you can or cannot sell on Poshmark!

@lizharr you're welcome! I'm always happy to help! And yeah it's best not too. If they want to pay you directly through PayPall, decline and say that you can't accept transactions offline. So they can only pay through the options that Poshmark gives when you click "buy now"
