@juleneanne That is the measurement I got. I guess is the way they are made. My friend who modeled the size Large wears 10/12, according to her. These stretches.

@juleneanne My friend is back home, in Brazil. She was visiting when I purchased these and she kept a size l Large. I took a picture when she was wearing hers. I will measure again all of them in the morning for you. I have 2 M and 1 S.

@juleneanne I have listed the measurements. These pants are tight on my legs (M) and waist and I normally wear size 8. Consider that I am Brazilian and my "backside" shows it😂. And I am not young, so, the belly factor makes a difference. Big belly, big butt, needs a bigger pair of pants. If you are a little taller and skinnier than I am, I think M would do. I am 5'2. They stretch. I hope it helps you to decide. And if doesn't fit, you can always re-posh and I will share it for you.

So that's how many inches across the waist while laying flat? I don't want the measurement of whole way around. Just across waistband while laying flat. So I am looking for a number in mid teens, not in twenties or thirties. @cileia
