carriebergmann @mollieaud hey there!!! I just measured, and its 14 inches flat across the waist, but I wear 28,29, 30 and it's roomy on me--I would say that a 30, 31 or 32 would feel best in these. Lol if u want any more info😊

carriebergmann @brooken1220 there is an elastic waist, but apparently these are so old that the elastic has deteriorated! I am in the range of 28-30 and these are roomy on me. I think they would look best on a person in the 30,31, or 32 area :)

carriebergmann it's hard to say, I'm not sure. I'm "28"/"29" more often than i am a "30", or like a dress size 6 sometimes 4... so if you're anything around the size 8 area, then i think it's a pretty good bet that they'll fit

mollieaud I know you said the elastic isn't that great, but are they somewhat stretchy? Sorry about all the questions it's just pants are so hit or miss for me.

carriebergmann omg no worries at all, i feel you!!The waist definitely has at least an inch, maybe two, of stretch-- the waist is till all cinched up around the elastic inside, and if i pull it, the folds come undone and it's a bit bigger without looking strained.
