I purchased 2 KVD liquid lipsticks that turned out to be fake. Seller was @terayacraig. The person who scammed me continually reported my post until it was deleted by Poshmark, but I expect that from people like her so I'm posting again! Make sure you watch videos on YouTube! The writing/designs on the REAL KVD is thin and very clear. The bottom stickers are black with small white writing not shiny with larger writing! Don't get screwed like I did!!

In the first photo the two real Kat Von D lipsticks are on the left and the two fakes are on the right. The real lipstick writing & designs is much thinner. In the third photo is the picture of an authentic Kat Von D lipstick sticker. If it is not solid black with white writing it is not authentic. The girl I purchased from took pictures of authentic items and then sent fakes. Even if the picture is of a real lipstick, do your research, any scammer can take pictures of real items and send fakes.

@illumahottie_ it was very frustrating. She swore she sent real and i sent back fakes. Honey with as much money as I have put into my makeup collection I can afford to buy the real thing. I have no use for that kind of junk. Lol 👍

@triggerpuller if you take it into the store yes they can tell you! The fake ones generally have the serial code GB6 on the back. There are also lots of YouTube videos that you can watch to help you decide whether it is real or not. Usually on the big ones talk Derby to me is misspelled. You also have to check pigmentation and overall color of the palette.

@triggerpuller you are so welcome! I have been screwed over on here 3 times so far. I almost closed down my closet because I was so frustrated. I love a deal but I will pay more if it is authentic. The fact that some people just love to take your money and run and send you crap really takes down my belief in humanity LOL and you are so welcome! Anytime you have any other questions let me know! I don't know everything but I like to think I know enough about real and fake makeup LOL

@triggerpuller Zoeva is a UK based brand which is why they cost a little bit more because they have to be internationally shipped. To my knowledge I have never seen a fake zoeva palette.

@ocdginger The 2 ladies who scammed me repeatedly made false reports about me until they shut my closet down, but I sent Poshmark a lengthy email explaining what they did and my closet was reactivated thank goodness!

@hmalbert oh the girl who did this has thrown my name all over Poshmark. First she claimed that she sent authentic ones and then I sent back fake ones, and then she claimed that I sent them back empty. She could not pick a lie to stick to. I think it is absolutely disgusting the way that people do that. I am not rich by any means but it is quite obvious that I have some very nice things. What use would I have lying about something like that?

@hmalbert because I could seriously just buy them from her website if I wanted to. I was just trying to save a few bucks. Never again! It takes a special kind of low person to pull that kind of sh*t. It could have been as simple as her saying she did not know they were fake but of course con artists would never do that. It is pathetic and sad. I'm glad you got your closet back! People like that should not have any business on Poshmark or places like it.

@wayra_ Yeah i know dear. She posted this about a year ago. Long story short I don't know if she knew they were fakes or not but she sent me fake lipsticks I sent them back with a note and got a refund, she got upset and said i stole them and sent back fakes. It is all good though because I think my reviews stand for my integrity and my purchase history stands for the fact that I don't have to steal makeup. Thank you for your concern but that's just her. 💖

I'm ALWAYS purchasing on Poshmark and I really dislike when people are deceiving.... just state that they are no authentic, some people will still buy it.... why lie over something that's material... wow🤦🏽♀️ Scary!!!
