It is my understanding that Size 38C measures approx 40" around, and you will want a bit of extra room as I have taken the measurements from the inner liner which is not stretch material. The most accurate way to determine fit will be to take your measurements and compare them to the dress. The measurements of the dress are bust 47", waist 44", hips 48", length 35". Leave a little room for looseness, as this dress looks nice with a bit of room. I hope it works for you!

XXL is 44". XXXL is 47". If you have a tape measure, measure around to be sure the 44" bust of XXL has ample room as this is not meant to be skin tight. It might sound odd to order an XXL, yet this is how the sizing of this dress runs. 💗🌻

stylechasers @blond55dye Hi! I would think that you would wear size S, yet the 36" band on the VS bra is 4" larger than the 32. Huge difference, yet there are usually 3 different clasps to choose from on the bra, so you're likely smaller than 36. I have more on order, and am told it will be 3-4 weeks. Maybe go to Victoria's and have them measure you at your widest point around, or get a cloth tape measure by the sewing supplies, just to be sure?

There is still some transparency through the layers, so best when used as a bathing suit coverup. Also works well with a shorter skirt slip underneath, if desired, to not show a potential leg silhouette. It is not super sheer by any means.

The next side up is 39". That might be better. It is tough to tell from bra sizes as they often have more than one clasp, so the measurements around can vary. Do you have a cloth tape measure? I would suggest to measure around the widest part of your bust with your bra on. I'm happy to switch it out for you.

stylechasers @chellted7 Hi Michelle. Use the chart in the photo, as this is made from my hand measurements of my inventory. Do you have a soft tape measure? I would suggest to measure around the largest part of your chest with bra on to ensure that the 38" bust on size L is sufficient. Measure the widest part of your hips as well. It's a little extra work, but better to be safe than sorry. I'll be shipping first thing Tuesday morning due to the long weekend. 💗💕🌻

I took the measurements for the chart myself, so they are accurate. Definitely use that chart. If in doubt, it's better to err on the side of too large for this loose style dress.

stylechasers @gentrygirl Hi Jennifer. Thank you for your interest. I would suggest to take your measurements with a soft measuring tape and compare them to the chart in the last photo. The size ranges are as is - to fully stretched. 34C would indicate 37", and I would suggest size M (10) or L, but not necessarily as bra straps typically have more than one adjustment setting and it's not the most accurate way to estimate. Bust should be measured at the largest width around with your bra on.
