kjtwisted Are these real gold, or "gold plated"? My ears are super sensitive but I adore these! I want to find a pair that can withstand the shower, sleeping, basically not have to worry about taking them out or my ears turning green :-/ again, gorgeous!

sophie01 @moodtherapy Hi, I got my earrings today but I cannot get them to stay on or lay correctly on my ear?? I have other ear pins but they stay on (they do have a longer piece on the back that stabilizes them). I am multiple piercings on my ear and I have even tried them in other holes, no dice. What am I missing on these to make these stay on? The little safety pin earrings are wonderful but the crawlers just don't stay on or even lay along my ear. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

moodtherapy @sophie01 I just found this. So what you do to make them stay in is you squeeze the two pieces together. Like the pin that goes through your hole, squeeze it tighter to your ear while your holding the front part of the earring. You can squeeze until its comfy and secure in your ear. Don't worry about them breaking, they won't.

sophie01 @moodtherapy I tried that yesterday. The very bottom where it is squarish is so big and that doesn't want to bend at all. Is that the part you are wanting me to squeeze, because if it is, I would have to use pliers.

moodtherapy @sophie01 no, the actual piece itself. Like the pin itself...squeeze it against your ear to tighten it. You'll hold the front part that shows on your ear and the back part that's behind your ear in the center or near the end and squeeze it tighter to your ear until its secure and comfortable.

sophie01 @moodtherapy I did that yesterday and it doesn't stay tight. In my mind, it is the big squarish bottom that might be the problem. My other ear pins have a tight bottom. There is a big gap at the bottom with the square width of it and the short pin on the back doesn't help the situation. I hope you know that I love them, just not sure how they can be worn with them so loose. Have other people had trouble with them?

sophie01 @moodtherapy I tried this for an hour today and I can squeeze it and the bottom tightens a little but the top just kind of lays over the side of my ear and if my hair moves it at all, I'm going to lose it.

I hate involving PM in this since you did nothing wrong, they just do not fit correctly on me. I am an SU as you are. I think we could make this work without a refund having to be processed.

sophie01 @moodtherapy I'm sorry, when they asked about accepting the order, I told them we were swapping them and they came back and said they don't support that and I needed to open a case. I apologize, I sincerely do. I am so over this also. I work also and have a family so I know what you are saying. I just kept getting emails from PM. If they find that the earrings are difficult to wear and they adjust the charge, I will still come back and buy the other earrings. I really do apologize😰
