estelymar @terribrowning 925 silver is the regular silver. This is sterling silver. Lunt just makes fine silver. This is 💯 authentic Lunt. Please let me know If you have any other questions. Thanks

So, to wrap up, there is no difference between the terms sterling silver and 925 silver, however the standards of sterling silver may differ depending on the country it comes from. That’s why I asked if it’s silver plate basically.

I understand that sterling silver is a better quality silver and is not mixed. however this is pure, manufactured by the house of Lunt. the only part that is not 💯 silver is the sharp part of the knife because it can not be made from silver.but thank you and I’m really appreciated your interest.
