hautellie @emmabohan this item hasn't arrived yet it's currently not for sale. I'm expecting it today or possibly tomorrow. According to the chart provided by the vendor, you would be able to wear a size medium. But I won't be able to verify that until I have it in my hands. Keep in mind you want to keep the top a little loose.

hautellie @midkit are you referring to the 40" bust ? This is actual fabric measurements. This is not a fitted romper. It's cut loose and full. Example: a 32" bust has 8 inches of gathered fabric, giving the full loose look.

hautellie Measurements for the hip on Small: 42, Medium 44, large 46 inches. Keep in mind you need a few more inches for a loose fit like the model has. If your hips are 40 I would go with 44 this gives two inches on each side for a nice sway of the fabric.
