@stephaniescarle Hi :) well, I completely adore these especially the quality. I live in SoCal and I'd have no issue with the weight of the material. I guess a better way to describe the weight of the fabric is equivalent to a pair of high quality Denim jeans ( but these are much softer than Denim). I couldn't tell which size to get, however since they do run small, the smaller sizes would be perfect. I hope that's helpful!💓

@stephaniescarle okay, so they way that they come up with those sizes is that they double the waist measurement. For a pair of jeans to be a size 26, the waist measurement "should" be 13" across. It seems like since these do have stretch, maybe the best size may be the small.

@rachealing Hi :) Good Morning :) I think they are actually about an inch longer about 28". But also keep in mind that, they're skinnies so the inseam will be shorter. For example me, I'm almost 5'9" and in flares or boot-cut I have to have a 34" or 35" inch inseam, but in skinnies I take a 29" inseam.

@kdkirton what I think would be the best thing to do is to take your favorite pair of jeans and lie them flat on the ground. Then measure the waist (at the very top of the jeans) all the way across. Then compare how many inches your jeans are to my measurements for the waist.

@pinkpink1967 @pinkpink1967 Hi There. The measurements I took are with the pants lying flat and are posted in the listing. The “Standard” in using measurements to obtain a number size is that you double the waist measurements if measured while lying flat. For example, if the waist measurement is 14”- the numerical size would be size 28.
