I try not to get pissed, but I had an incident last week where a "lady" told me f- off because I wouldn't give her a discount that would literally cost ME money- lol i guess you gotta stay out of the drama.. ugh (sorry had to vent)

fashionchicaz @crystalkat83 vent away! It's awful and I used to get upset but now I counter exactly what I'm asking. Over and over and over. I wish I could attach some of these. I had one who offered me $5 less after dropping the price 20% buyers receive notification that a reduction was made. I made it clear that it was last markdown no offer. She had me hold it for a week and bolted! Ugh

fashionchicaz @crystalkat83 one last example. Had a posher with quite a lot of followers offer me half of my listed that was half of the same dress anywhere else. This posher sold this specific brand and wanted to bundle 2 I marked down because I'm closing my closet for a little soon. I wound up donating the dresses for a prom dress project after she rejected my final price. She came back after I had marked the item not for sale

fashionchicaz @crystalkat83 and I proceeded to tag her with listings of the same items but notably double plus what I was asking. She sold free people exclusively. She knew she was getting a def resale deal, $500 dress $70, when others were asking $175+. That was the one moment I knew the dresses needed to go to someone in need. Not someone who is greedy! Thanks for letting me vent 😘😘😘😘

crystalkat83 @fashionchicaz @fashionchicaz I know some people are ruthless... usually a lowball offer doesn't faze me, but one posher really got on my nerves. After about 13 lowball offers, my patients were tested to the max. I was a bit immature and went to her closet and offered this paticular person 8$ for her 250.00 dress.

jerszgurl Oh this is good! I am stealing this! The low ball offers are getting worse lately! I always start by marking down 1/3 of the original price. I am get offers for 50% the already marked down by 1/3 of the original price. This is prefect! Thank you!

itsmeeirene Oh most def! I was recently low balled and taken advantage of a pair of vs pink leggings that I did not know where rare and go for $60+!! My listening was more than fair priced but I accepted a low ball offer and now item is being re listed waaaay higher than what I was even asking for 😡😡 this post is great! Poshmark isn't a giant flea market!

crystalkat83 @itsmeeirene for what it's worth when I've had to reposh something because it didn't fit or whatever it has not sold.... i'll start with the higher price for wiggle room to negotiate. If sells, it usually sells for less than what I had to pay (including Shipping). So good luck to your buyer!!

itsmeeirene Oh no my buyer definitely purchased to resell... after I realized how much the item was worth I took a look at her closet and she sells the same brand super marked up in an array of sizes... she definitely purchased to resell! I was asking $20, ended up letting them go for $15 and the buyer has them listed for $60 😤

itsmeeirene My sister told me she saw it reposted unless she saw the same leggings in another closet thinking it was the same user, I'm going to re look now and see... regardless though, I know the buyer resells the specific brand at a high price with sizes ranging all over the place so I'm sure if they aren't listed yet it's only a matter of time 😩 lol... would be great if we can get them back! I would have cancelled the order but I didn't realize they were rare until after I shipped...

Like this one girl was determined to get rid of her designer clothes to move to New York and I got a nwt designer dress for $14 and she was not even mad about it -she really wanted me to buy it. She could get rid of it. It's rare but sometimes those deals come along. On posh Mark personally I like it when they know what it's worth and they're offering me to get rid of it- I don't try to lowball anyone unless I'm being petty
