sosucculent @iloveomiee hi there. I peeked at your closet. Your photos are great. Make sure to always include in the title for the listing the brand. Then when describing always list the condition of the product and point out any flaws If any at all, and include a photo as well. Another tip would be to have any key words in the description that someone would search for: floral, fringe, bohemian, art infused, etc.

sosucculent @iloveomiee nother huge thing that will get more people in your closet is following as many people as you can. When I first was starting out, I would follow 50 people and share 1-2 things from their closet a day. You definitely need to share because then people will share your stuff in return and it will bring it back to the top of the search. Also share your own closet at least twice a day.

sosucculent @iloveomiee For pricing I usually leave a little wiggle room (I don’t over price too much just a dollar or two) so that you can give people a discount with the “offer to liners” button or for when there is closet clear out and you can drop your price a little for people to get that $4.99 shipping. sosucculent @iloveomiee happy to help! And don’t forget to share and follow. It draws people to your closet. I sell mostly kids clothing but for anything I have that is a good brand, I type into the search engine on posh to see what people are listing it at. For example, GAP or stuff from Anthro. That sort of thing. Otherwise I price a lot of my stuff to sell because I just want to move it out of my house! Lol.

sosucculent @iloveomiee ok so I am seeing you learned how to share someone’s else’s items. That great. Or your own items, I go to the listing, then I click the “edit” “next” and then “list” and go through all of your listings and do that. It is tedious but it’s the best way to share your own closet. You can share to just here on poshmark or link your account to twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.

sosucculent @iloveomiee Poshmark claims that users who link to other social venues have 26% more sales or something like that. I do everything but Facebook otherwise it clogged up my Facebook feed and my friends don’t want to see that. Haha

I will share something on Facebook if it’s something that maybe my friends or someone else might be interested in. But for the most part I do not have my poshmark linked to my Facebook (but do have it linked to the other social media sites)

sosucculent @iloveomiee so glad you found the group! The number that is listed for shares when you are looking at your closet is the number of times you shared other peoples closet item. When you click in your setting area and click on “posher stats” and scroll down, you will then see a stat for total self shares (aka sharing your own closet) and then total shares (aka sharing other people’s closets!)
