I think the size small would work for your friend, it is honestly pretty oversized and great for a chillax wedding.

haute2wear @iheartsaltwater the fit is really relaxed and the lace up detail can make it even more slouchy. The velvet is crushed and it's not too thin, so no awkward underwear peeking through the fabric.
