I made this dress for myself sometime in the 60s (sorry, I can't remember exactly when.) One of a kind. No obvious flaws.
To find out if this fits you, take a dress from your own closet that fits you well and lay it flat. Measure it armpit to armpit, waist, hips, etc and compare:
Measured flat: Armpit to armpit: 18" | Waist: 17" | Shoulder to hem: 37" | Shoulder to shoulder: 15" | Sleeve length: 8.75" | Sleeve width: 6.5"

I’m looking at your closet and remembering the ones my mom made and wore in the 1960’s. Such wonderful pieces you made!

Much too small for me. The seaming detail on this is exquisite! Sharing.

@jijill Hi, Inez's granddaughter here! Finding her size at any point in time has always been hard! She seriously didn't buy clothes for herself. And women's sizes were different back then than they are today. The patterns she used are also all over the place, generally size 3-12 depending on when and from whom she bought it. The best way to find out if one of her dresses will fit you is to measure a dress from your closet when you lay it flat and compare to the measurements in the listing.
