Soft crocheted lace chocker with glass bead focal and button closure. Natural cream ivory color, 100% cotton. Adorned with taupe and ivory glass beads that I make at my lampwork torch, fully kiln annealed. Loose fitting choker, about 14-15" around. Sorry, not adjustable. Feels feminine and delicate, with the nice weight of artisan glass that anchors it. Victorian vibe. Great with casual and romantic looks. Or contrast it with an edgy look for great impact. @londonerus Hehe this ole thang? Man I love that chokers came back from the 90s. I made these a lot back in the day so it'll be fun to revisit them!

@londonerus Yep with a little lacy cap sleeve button down underneath, almost like a dirndl blouse. If I had the means, I'd hire you as my head stylist! Wait, no, you'd be the model. No, the photographer. I'll make a hat for each of your jobs. HAHA

@gemfox lolololol you don't want me as your model trust me.. you prob won't believe me but i really dislike modeling! thank goodness all my viewfinders swivel so i can take my own pic & be done with it :-DDD you are a very good photographer (and model i think). my guess would be you're a professional.

@londonerus I'm glad you're humble about your modeling. It's unanimous that you're great at it. I've seen people in the FB Poshmark group post [on more than one occasion] specifically about your closet and how great your modeling/photos are (they beat me to it). Can't argue with the mob. Your sales prove it ;) Sorry to break it to you, besides being beautiful, you're a natural at modeling.

@gemfox gemfox, i don't even know your name and you are soooo good to me. i don't mean this is some rehearsed 'oh thanks you're so kind' way -- i mean it. i make stuff that i like but i never ever in my wildest dreams would've thought of selling them.. then i posted a hand patched FB sweater because i thought the sweater was ok but i had patched it in the past to hide a clorox spot.. i barely had the courage to list

@gemfox it and you were cheering me on right away.. and it sold!!! then i listed another patched shirt that the african bonfire sparkles make tiny holes in.. again, you were cheering me on and it sold... you power seller 200k follower one of a kind gem fox were cheering me on and for that i am forever thankful. you gave me the courage to just list my likes even though it's not for the masses..

@gemfox well, i prob didn't say it well.. i don't mind my photo being taken.. i did a little modeling when i was a teenager and didn't like it (i'm not tall and don't have a model body so it's not like i missed out on a great carrier lol) and i just didn't care for the long hours for make-up, the blinding & hot lights and stuff but it was quick money for a teenager.. i lasted about a week :-))))

@gemfox i never even knew i was doing ok sales wise till you told me.. i always thought others sell waaaay more (which is fair, more listings, more followers etc). you really are very good to me -- it's very humbling coming from someone of your talent

@londonerus That's the key. We don't have to cater to the masses. There are enough Poshers doing that, so much that it looks like thousands of Walmarts in here. You have your niche and that's what makes you successful. Your distinct style, presentation, and incentive makes your closet amazing. Of course I would cheer you on...

@londonerus ...Your closet exemplifies what Posh used to be like back when it first started. Power seller? Nope, that's you. I have 200k followers from being SU since 2013. What I sold in 4 years you sold in 3 months. When I look back on my shares, you're the only one that's selling.

@gemfox must have been fun back when it was the way you describe.. i've never heard of posh till april this year when i was googling for something that was sold out in my size. then a few weeks later listed a few things that weren't getting enough wear. lolololol at your walmart comment :-DDDDD reminds me of the coach bag (the CCCCCCC variety) convo :-)))))) ever since that convo every time i see a CCCCCCC i think of you no joke!!

@gemfox also, the other day, i decided to clean my sewing machine and removed those pieces where the bobbin assembly goes (sorry don't know what it's called :-O).. then of course couldn't figure out how to put everything back and thought to myself, i bet talents like gemfox put this sh*t back together in under five seconds

@londonerus My talent extends to my acute ability to look things up on the internet. Oh by the way, you do know my name. It's Gem, short for Gemma, which in Italian means, you guessed it, gem.
