I’ve rebranded my name to @myhauntedheart to reflect a more authentic me. As a disabled veteran I have struggled with PTSD from combat and military sexual trauma, and I want to share my truth with the world because I know I am not alone in these dark moments. We all have seen our individual hardships in life, and I invite anyone that wishes to do so to share their truth, or just simply leave a little love note with some well wishes for everyone on their journey to peace. melissamcn Good for you!!! I've struggled with depression for years and NEvER talk about it because I assume everyone will tell me to just buck up and get over it. I would have said that too before I had to deal myself. A physical injury is so much easier because it's visible. Having something broken in the mind is a whole different ballgame.

I just emailed support and asked them if I could change my user name and put what I wanted to change it to, and they had it completed the next day! I put in the subject line: Rebranding Closet Name. dtb122 @myhauntedheart I’m doing very well, Jen. I’ve recreated myself as well. It was time for me to update my life. Plus...I’m finally getting my website together. Now that my dad is gone, it’s been full steam ahead. I never realized how much time was given to being his caregiver. I’d never change how it rolled out, as he was very happy up until the end and that’s all that mattered, however, I truly believe, this time, I’ll be ready to launch in the Fall. Very exciting.

dtb122 @myhauntedheart I also took a 10 day break. No PM whatsoever. I didn’t think I could do it, but I did, and it was refreshing. People that work from home have a tendency to work 24/7 days a week. I don’t think we realize that. We may take breaks, during the day, but I really feel we work longer hours. For me, it’s worth it. The only schedule I keep is mine. ☺️

They want to push meds, they want to push all types of therapy instead of providing the help we need by way of teaching us how to live not being the victim anymore. They got it ALL wrong. And then they wonder why 22 a day. 😡 I've concluded that no one is gonna help us or save us. We have to do that ourselves. If you ever need a listening ear PLEASE reach out. I've got your 6!

Reading my grandmothers journal after she passed was enlightening about WW2 and why she and my grandpa were the way they were. From Korea to Saudi and my daddy in Vietnam. I come from a military family myself (plus in-laws, tho' I did not serve, myself) and am married to a vet. I also cope with PTSD from a non-military event. klbrooks27 @myhauntedheart Thank you 🙏🏻 Reach out once you get settled! There are two groups in Arizona we especially LOVE … MISSION2ALPHA AND MARINE RAIDERS FOUNDATION. They were both founded by local men. There are very small administrative costs…. I find that large non- profits are so unwieldy that a large percentage of their funds go to salaries ! These men actually have jobs to provide their income and solicit volunteers for the rest! Have a great holiday and peaceful productive move ! 😉💖
