dtb122 @sammy Did you decide to go and listen to the speaker...or stay home? If you did go, was it interesting? It’s still fairly early in your neck of the woods. You may not be home yet. My website is almost finished. 3 years in the making. Way too many interruptions...however, it’s actually coming to fruition. I’m hoping to launch a soft opening in August. As far as PM...it’s going well. I had a fantastic March and April...a bit slower, so far this month. Do you ever join the night parties?

sammy @dtb122 I love this top. If I can manage to get out for a couple of hours to go to a speaker meeting, I may wear it. Of course I have 1,009 things to wear so idk or if I’m even up to going. My organizer was supposed to bring me a nasal decongestant and she cancelled on me. I have an abscess tooth and a post nasal drip so I’m very uncomfortable. I don’t wanna be around a lot of people and drive to the club and sit there for an hr. I’m gonna take a shower soon but I haven’t even eaten today yet. sammy Oh, overhauling is an exaggeration. I have boxes and boxes and boxes of both my clothing and new inventory. Plus a ton of crap all over my house. I’m paying someone to organize it all. She cancelled on me twice today. The professional organizers are too expensive and I’m thinking of replacing my bathtub with a walk in shower. That’s several thousand. How exciting being a talent agent. I’m a professional fundraiser. My back ground was in higher ed most of my career. Now I’m at a children’s shelter not a state agency and I’m the Development Manager raising funds for ages 12-21 in transition for various reasons. Sad stories but many with happy endings.

sammy Wanna host with someone with a good closet like yours, they write too and u move up much sooner. My third party, I did nothing before to prepare. It was the noon and I was barely awake and on the phone with a former PFF while hosting. I gave her and some other PFFs like 3-5 picks. And I finally saw you can do between 50 and 100 which makes it much easier.

sammy Yes, when people see the names of co hosts, the regulars tag everyone on their tag list and they want a host pick. Ignore most of it unless u see a closet that u like. U cannot screw this up. U may think u did but u just can’t . All u do is go to closets, pick an item u like that fits the theme. Night time party I can give picks on anything. You wrote whatever u want: a quote, something cute, anything. After writing it out on the first one you click on it and hit copy.

sammy Every HP after, you hit paste. I start with my PFFs and I give them 2-3. You can also look up in your closet who gave you a HP and if their closet is acceptable, give them one. U technically only have to do 50 but I’ve always done 100 or more. Yes, the same people host like every week. They are power sellers which Poshmark knows so they let them Host all the time. Everyone else has to wait. It’s definitely not fair but it’s their site.

I don’t know how much they sell, but there making a 500% markup. If not more. I want to make back my investment and leave that part of PM behind. I’m really over it. Time to move on. 100 items left. Rock bottom prices and entering the shopping season...hopefully some will sell.

sammy I was so worked up and anxious I couldn’t and can’t catch my breath, I’m breathing really hard, not on purpose and I’m covered in sweat! Not the best day of my life. And before I went out a bunch of girls said they were going to buy things. Or they need more info. I haven’t checked yet. I’m guessing nothing was bought but there are more questions.

sammy @dtb122 u actually could have put up either a moving sale listing or a holiday sale one. U don’t have to say you’re closing. Then people might think you are closing because u aren’t selling anything much. I’ve been dead as a door nail which I don’t get. I give great deals and terrific gifts. U have 100 pieces left or 100 listings with multiple sizes. I have over a thousand listings most of multiples so do the math cause I don’t wanna, I’ll be sick to my stomach.

sammy Yup there are quite a lot of selfish greedy idiots on here charging over $100 I saw the other day for a striped cardigan. It was very pretty but seriously? She couldn’t have paid more than about $20-25. Unless it has a few hundos in the pockets, who’s dumb enough to pay that. You can get a 6 pack wholesale for what these people charge for one thing. I don’t know how they sell so much. Kfab333 Kimmie is a PFF of mine. U probably know who she is.

sammy She models her inventory and has a fantastic figure but there’s something up with her eyes. They are very blue but weird. She always looks like she’s seen one of those ghosts. U have to see!!! She sells out of everything. Stuff I have that barely sells if at all plus the other stuff she sells. She said she’d brainstorm with me to try to get sales. If I lose the last 10 lbs I’m going to start modelling. Seems the few ladies with terrific figures and pretty faces sell more.

sammy My theory is their followers and sharers see the clothing on regular people. Not just the stock photo ten feet tall models. My friend Val also models and looks amazing. And she’s only 5’ 2”! She sells a lot. I used to be her best customer but I’m overspending as it is. I had to put all my new furniture on 3 cards. That’s how poor I am. But it all looks beautiful.
